Free ADP® report warns you where regulatory enforcement could increase

Federal agencies are creating new rules and stepping up enforcement activities. Many new regulations will shift more responsibility to employers. What should you be watching out for? Download this free ADP report to read where federal regulatory enforcement has increased the most.

Included in this overview of new regulations and initiatives:

  • The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has hired 250 additional investigators to support increased enforcement of wage and hour laws. It has launched a timesheet app to help employees independently track the hours they work and determine the wages they are owed. And it continues to partner with the American Bar Association to support Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) complainants.
  • In FY 2012, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs conducted compliance evaluations at more than 4,000 contractor establishments, recovering more than $11 million in financial remedies for victims of discrimination.
  • The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched a special initiative to protect temporary employees from recognized workplace hazards.
